The Norwich Women's Club is a philanthropic organization dedicated to enhancing the social, cultural and educational landscape of Norwich, Vermont.  Membership is open to all persons with an interest in Norwich.  Interested in joining?  Click here.

In recent years, the NWC has given out over $70,000 in Community Project Grants and post-secondary scholarships.  The Club's two major fundraisers are the Spring Gala, a silent auction combined with an evening event held each March, and the annual Nearly New Sales held in October.  More than 200 volunteers work to make these events possible.  Proceeds from the Spring Gala support community projects, while those from the Nearly New Sales provide post-secondary scholarships for Norwich residents.  Through these two fundraisers the NWC has contributed more than $1,000,000 to the community since 1964.

The NWC also hosts an annual book and author event, maintains the flower plantings in the triangle by Tracy Hall, hosts the summer concerts on Norwich Green, arranges candidate nights for local elections, compiles a town directory, and offers a monthly Coffee and Conversation hour at the Norwich Inn.  Each year, the NWC arranges a variety of other activities for members; past outings have included bus trips to area museums, nights out at Northern Stage, and wine tastings.

The NWC is powered by an all-volunteer board.  Please click here to meet the current board members.  Board meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 6:30pm in the community room at the Norwich Public Library.  All are welcome to attend.

If you're interested in making a difference in Norwich the NWC is always looking for volunteers - we have positions that take a few hours a year, and positions that take a few hours a week.  Please fill out the contact form below if you would like to learn more.
